We are all a part of the same rainbow and would not be here if not for the courageous actions of Marsha P. Johnson, a Black Transwoman, and other activists during the Stonewall Era that kicked off the Gay Liberation movement. So many of our brothers and sisters have been killed and hurt due to the historic, systemic racism in our country and without change, the numbers will continue to grow.
PFLAG Oklahoma City stands in support of, and in solidarity with, Black Lives Matters because we are all striving towards the common goal of equality, equity, and justice.
